A charity trip to Tuong Lai special-needs Preschool, District 3

Working together in a strong community with a common purpose can make the impossible, possible.

The morning of January 11th, 2023, Grade 3 had the privilege of visiting Tuong Lai Preschool for special needs students.

It was a lovely trip where FIS students were given the opportunity to share their time and smiles with others. Our school donated 7 million vnd, milk, and snacks for the students. Our students gifted other students milk and snacks. Midway through our visit, we played a game together and built happy memories. Thank you, Grade 3 for sharing your joy with others this morning. You made a difference today and we know you will continue to do so in the future.

Summer is here, and we’re off to a blooming start!

Our preschoolers kicked off the first week of summer with a fun-filled Nature: Garden theme! From planting seeds to painting flowers, they explored the beauty of nature through creative arts and crafts, hands-on activities, and outdoor adventures. They loved digging in the dirt, making leaf prints, crafting butterflies, and playing exciting garden games under the sun. It was a week full of laughter, learning, and little hands getting messy in the best way! Here’s to a summer full of curiosity, creativity, and connection with nature!

Summer School is Off to a Great Start

We had a fantastic first day of Summer School! Our students started the morning with fun games that got everyone energized and engaged. They took part in music and PE sessions, and also got back into the rhythm of academic learning. It was a great balance of movement, creativity, and focus. The Grade 5 students visited Baby Nhu Y as she recuperates at the University Medical Center, HCMC, following a successful heart procedure to treat a congenital heart condition. The FIS visitors brought gifts, well wishes, and words of encouragement for the family. Baby Nhu Y is a 9-month-old girl who received full financial support from FIS for her heart treatment. This support was made possible thanks to the generosity of our school community and our partnership with the Vietnam Children’s Fund, who selected the beneficiary.
