A full speech made by the Consul General of Cuba, Ho Chi Minh City, Ms. Ariadne Feo Labrada at FIS’ Year-end Concert 2023 – 2024

Dear Board of Directors of the FOSCO company,

Dear principals of FOSCO international school,

Distinguished guests, parents and students:

With great modesty and pleasure, I address you in this beautiful end-of-year activity to deliver a message of congratulations and gratitude to the Directors, principals and workers of FOSCO International School.

Our experience, as parents of my little boy Axel, during the time he has been enrolled in school, has been very positive and confident. We have been able to witness the learning, instructive and discipline growth that our son has achieved after starting in FOSCO International School. Despite having started very young and with Spanish language, he has quickly reached a level of understanding and communication in English language.

In general, Axel has felt very happy in his environment as a Pre-Kindergarten student, with his classmates, teachers and assistants of the school, which include the kitchen, cleaning staff and the safeguards. He enjoys every class, lesson or outside activity was organized and at the same time he has learned to share with his friends, sharing and be independent.

I congratulate once again the school management, its teachers, assistants and workers in general for the special work they do for the accurate training of our children. Being a teacher is one of the most beautiful professions.

I extend warm congratulations to all the students who graduate today, especially those who will continue their studies in secondary education. I wish them much success in their future studies. My best advice is to prepare well for your future but at the same time play, run, jump and dedicate time to enjoy your childhood.

Please receive my best wishes for health, success and prosperity, on behalf of all parents, my family and on my own behalf.

¡Muchas gracias!

¡Thank you so much!

Estimados invitados, padres y alumnos:

¡Muchas gracias!

¡Thank you so much!

¡Cảm ơn bạn rất nhiều!

The other students from the other classes trooped to the table to get their share. The Process: First they discussed between several interesting food picks and they decided to make Rice Balls and Egg Rolls with seaweed. As 10-11-year-olds, they were taught how to cook rice from washing, soaking (for a special variety of rice), measuring water and use the rice cooker. After the rice was cooked, they seasoned it, sprinkled it with crushed seaweed, made them...
