Fire drill on August 31st, 2023

FOSCO Company held an extremely thorough fire drill on August 31st, 2023. The fire dill was hosted by the Fire Department of District 3 and involved two fire trucks along with their firefighters and rescue team. Participants included selected FOSCO staff, our FIS primary students, and actors as the victims. Students were able to observe how a rescue mission was performed safely. Firefighters and FOSCO staff also used the real water hose to extinguish a fake building fire. It was very wet! There was also a fire-extinguisher demonstration, which included many staff extinguishing a fire pit. We were joined by the FOSCO Board of Directors and took a lovely photo to celebrate the successful fire drill. Thank you, FOSCO!

Halloween 2024 was a blast!

Halloween 2024 was a blast! Firstly, it promised amazing literacy-building activities. The students wrote amazing original stories, read them, and made video clips out of it. Secondly, they learned so many technology strategies and techniques which they can use in the future. Also, they made creative trick-or-treat bags, did an exciting educational scavenger hunt, showed off Halloween costumes, and did Halloween Dance! What a blockbuster Halloween Assembly it was, not to mention that the school front garden was transformed for Halloween with a spooky and fun atmosphere courtesy of our super creative and hardworking Teacher Assisants!
