FOSCO collaborated with the District 3 Fire Department to organize a demonstration of procedures when there is fire

On Oct. 11, 2024, FOSCO collaborated with the District 3 Fire Department to organize a demonstration of procedures when there is fire. These are: how to escape, evacuate property, rescue “injured” people, and use of the fire extinguisher to extinguish fire in a makeshift fire pit on the roundabout. Then the District 3 Firetruck demonstrated how to stop the artificial smoke on top of the building.

There was also a follow-up training with FIS students as Mr. Tuấn and Mr. Hiếu taught the necessary skills to escape in case of fire, use the fire extinguisher, and escape a vehicle/school bus on fire. The students enjoyed shouting Fire! Fire! Fire! and as young as they are, they were able to extinguish the fire from a safe tank. Even teachers got their turn! This activity proved that no matter the age, awareness is key to being responsible to prevent and stop fire.

The District 3 Fire Department, FOSCO HQ and FIS administration worked hard for more than a month planning onthe drill. What a success!
