FIS hosted our annual Mid-Autumn Festival on September 29th filled with joy and laughter.
All grades joined together in the morning dressed in their beautifully colored Ao Dai. Students shared their lantern creations and felt the warmth of tradition. During our morning assembly, we enjoyed performances from our students. Beautiful Vietnamese poems were recited by our wonderful Grade 4 students, Fiona and Khushal. Preschool students sang a traditional Vietnamese song, which filled our hearts with a big smile. Thank you to all of our dragon dancers! You marveled us with your skills and humor. Our 5th graders performed three short stories, including Vietnam's famous legend "The Moon Boy" and everyone loved their great acting skills and creative props!
During our break time, the entire school enjoyed moon cakes and took many photos with friends, teachers, and staff. We even took photos by Ao Dai color!
We concluded the day with presenting certificates to all classes for their great contributions to our event.
Thank you to all the parents who joined our event this morning! We loved having you here!
