FIS celebrated Mid-Autumn Festival on Friday, Sept 13th, to preserve, celebrate, and learn about Vietnamese culture and tradition. Also called Tết Trung Thu, the tradition focuses on kids after the busy harvest season. The festival is held under the full moon, symbolizing a full and prosperous life. Students, teachers, and staff donned on their traditional Vietnamese costumes, made lanterns lanterns and mooncakes, and had a parade with creative and colorful lanterns.
