Santa came to FIS!

Santa came to FIS! Our Bake Sale and Winter Art Gallery for orphans in HCMC was a huge success! Thank you to our wonderful FOSCO neighbors, parents, and friends who supported our students' caring cause by purchasing their handmade treats. Students were extremely elated by giving back to the community, and we are so proud of their accomplishments! Thank you, teachers and TAs, for your great guidance and teaching our students the value of good citizenship. It's important to give back to our community in any way that we can. Let's continue practicing this throughout our lives and help those in need. Great job, everyone!

We are also excited to share our students’ talents in our Winter Art Gallery! Every grade made a beautiful piece of art related to Christmas joy! We are sure that their art work will bring much happiness this holiday season!

From well thought out use and arrangement of materials to cushioned landings, they worked together to protect their eggs from a second-floor drop. With careful hands and bright eyes, they eagerly picked the crops we had planted together, marveling at every fresh veggie and leafy green. It was pure joy watching them connect with nature, learning the magic of growing our own food—one tiny harvest at a time!

Literally finished in 1-not-2 minutes!! The 5th Graders had a very successful “Kids Can Cook” activity on the occasion of Women’s Day 2025 Celebrations. The other students from the other classes trooped to the table to get their share. The Process: First they discussed between several interesting food picks and they decided to make Rice Balls and Egg Rolls with seaweed. As 10-11-year-olds, they were taught how to cook rice from washing, soaking (for a special variety of rice), measuring water and use the rice cooker.
