The Grade 5 Class had the opportunity of going on a sight-seeing trip that turned to be a great learning activity

The Grade 5 Class had the opportunity of going on a sight-seeing trip that turned to be a great learning activity. This is in the expo area of the District 1 Midnight Run 2024, directed by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and the Department of Culture & Sports.
As a launching activity to Sunday’s Midnight Run, the students did many things. The goal of the run is to spread awareness of taking care of the environment. There were green booths showcasing environmentally friendly products.
Here is Khai’s recount:
In the fair, we did hamster run. Hamster run is a run which is like a doing the treadmill without using electricity. This saves electricity. Coal will not be burned in producing it. Second, we went to the booth that shows how to clean water waste. The waste goes to contraption and it cleans the water before the water could go to the ocean. Third we went to water bottle recycling machine that cuts the plastic into small pieces and then recycled. Finally, we went to the Dai Nam water cleaning. It cleans the dirty water, takes out bacteria before going into the ocean. After we went on all those things, i learned how people protect the environment. I will try to do my best to help protect the environment by not throwing trash.
We went home happy because we got give aways. It was a learning time that is fun!
