Working together in a strong community with a common purpose can make the impossible, possible.  The morning of January 11th, 2023, Grade 3 had the privilege of visiting Tuong Lai Preschool for special needs students.  It was a lovely trip where FIS students were given the opportunity to share their time and smiles with others. On the January 10, 2023, FIS continued on our mission of spreading cheer for those less fortunate than ourselves. 4th Graders along with their teachers, Principals, and Vice Principals delivered more of the proceeds from the Bake Sale Fundraising event and parents’ donations from the Christmas period. This time the recipient was "Trung tâm nuôi dưỡng bảo trợ trẻ em Tam Bình" located in Thủ Đức. We brought them milk, cooking oil, shampoo, diapers, and cash valued 30,000,000VND. There is power in giving, smiling, touching, and caring. On January 6, 2023, the first FIS group led by Mr. Ho Trong Tri, Deputy General Director, the Principals, Vice Principals and the 5th Graders successfully delivered part of the proceeds of the Bake Sale Fundraising event and donations. The first of 3 recipients was Mai Am Thien Duyen Shelter in Cu Chi. We are overjoyed with the finale of our Toyland Christmas Concert. What a colorful, festive, and wonderful Christmas Concert held on December 16, 2022 at the Children's House which is our first major celebration outside of schoool after the pandemic has eased up. FIS celebrated our wonderful teachers and teaching assistants today. We are fortunate to have the best team that continues to support each other for the great benefit of our students and parents.
