FIS's Spooktacular Halloween was a great success! Students went trick or treating in the morning and visited other classrooms. Our morning assembly included games, costume fashion show, and our Scary Story winners! Congratulations to our winners: Khai, Laksh, and Allison! Their stories were extremely well written and scary! After lunch, students enjoyed our "Haunted House" and even some parents were spooked! Thank you, everyone! 

FIS Staff had the pleasure of welcoming Master, Doctor Đỗ Minh Hùng and Doctor Nguyễn Trần Quý Khoa from Children 1's Hospital's Emergency Department to conduct a formal CPR training. We learned much and practiced safety procedures to ensure we can all help in case of an emergency. Thank you to all who participated in this very important training!

Friday, September 30th was “Rainbow Anti-Bullying Day” at FIS to place special focus on anti-bullying. “Rainbow Anti-Bullying Day” helps our school encourage all students, teachers, and parents to take action against bullying and to celebrate our differences. All grades participated and wore a different color of the rainbow. In the morning, we had a parade on the FOSCO grounds. Our working neighbors attended and cheered for our students! Happy Mid-Autumn! FIS hosted our annual Mid-Autumn Festival on September 9th filled with joy and laughter. All grades joined together in the morning for a quick fashion show to display their beautifully colored Ao Dai  . Students shared their lantern creations and felt the warmth of tradition. During our morning assembly, we enjoyed performances from our students. Beautiful Vietnamese poems were recited by our wonderful students and Grade 4 sang a traditional Vietnamese song. Welcome back to school, everyone! We were so excited to see the bright smiles of our wonderful students today. Students started their day by going to their classrooms and meeting their new teachers. Then, we met on the school playground to hold our first assembly of the new school year. We introduced our new teachers Ms. Vana (Grade 2) and Ms. Laurie (Grade 3) and they did a brief introduction to for our students.
