The school year has come to an end! FIS teachers, students, and staff had a memorable day to celebrate our year’s accomplishments. As we all know, this year was filled with challenges, but together, we managed to overcome them and thrive. We are so proud of our students for their determination and continued growth. Well done, everyone! We are sure everyone enjoyed their potluck picnics in their classrooms and awesome FOSCO International School bucket hats! We wish all of our families a happy and healthy summer! We held our annual FIS Olympic Games on Friday, May 27th, 2022. The weather was perfect! Not too hot or too cold, just perfect! Students were divided into colored teams consisting of mixed grades (Kindergarten-5th Grade) with one Lead Teacher as their coach. They worked together for the championship and were reminded that teamwork is essential for success. It was endearing to see older students helping the younger students and was a definite reminder that our “6 Kinds of Best” are instilled in our students. We are so proud of our students! The FIS Flea Market was. Great success! Students sold personal items from home that they no longer use to promote ways to help improve the environment. It was super exciting to see students rejoice in buying used items to help the Earth. Thank you parents for encouraging your children! And, thank you students for sharing and helping out beautiful Earth. Let’s continue doing the little things to help our beautiful planet. Happy Earth Day, everyone!

Dear FIS Families, our school will learn about healthy habits in May! We are excited to motivate our students to build better habits for stronger health. Join us next month with our initiatives and help us guide your children to build stronger health awareness.

FIS students (Nursery-Grade 5) participated in our Speech Contest 2022. They had roughly one week to prepare and practice, which they did very well. We are so proud of our students, especially those who expressed that they were a bit nervous. Speaking in front of an audience can be quite scary, but our students focused and prepared well to deliver great material! Their speeches were incredible! Pajama Day was so much fun! It was a great learning day with students and teachers wearing their comfy pajamas all day. Students participated in fun activities and learned about the benefits of sleep. All classes enjoyed a pop-corn snack and fresh orange juice while relaxing and watching an educational program. Thank you to all our parents for supporting us with our fun mini-events for our students.
