We are so thrilled to start our STEAM lessons at school! Students will participate in STEAM projects twice per month. Today, Grade 4 was the first class to try out out new STEAM Room. We look forward to seeing more of our students' creativity and problem-solving skills development

FIS hosted our annual Mid-Autumn Festival on September 29th filled with joy and laughter.
All grades joined together in the morning dressed in their beautifully colored Ao Dai. Students shared their lantern creations and felt the warmth of tradition. During our morning assembly, we enjoyed performances from our students. Beautiful Vietnamese poems were recited by our wonderful Grade 4 students, Fiona and Khushal. Preschool students sang a traditional Vietnamese song, which filled our hearts with a big smile. Thank you to all of our dragon dancers! You marveled us with your skills and humor. The Kinder Captains had a fantastic kitchen adventure with Mr. Quoc Anh, the school chef. They observed the step-by-step process of making mooncakes, and without any hesitation, they too kneaded the dough. "It felt sticky at first, but I just imagined that it's play dough, so I wasn't scared to touch it!", Bao said. The mooncake-making workshop was indeed culturally inclusive, and the kindergarten students were able to learn new words. That experience will surely leave a good mark on our young learners' minds and hearts.
