Snapology Week 2! Students are having such a great time learning through play. We are so happy to have a wonderful robotics club at FIS!

The Snapology Robotics Club was a great success yesterday! Students enjoyed building their color detection devices and learning coding skills. Thank you to the wonderful teachers at Snapology for your enthusiasm! If your child would like to join, please contact us. This club is so much fun!

Welcome back to school students! Today was so exciting to see how happy our students were to reunite with their friends and teachers. Our Principals and Academic Director celebrated by doing a Li Xi activity. They visited all classrooms and presented students and teachers with lucky money envelopes along with encouraging words for continued growth, health, and happiness. Thank you all FIS families. Wishing you all a great year ahead!  

Red Day was filled with love today! Student looked bright and stunning in their red outfits, united in our mission: to show love for our community, our school, and our world. Preschool and Primary students had a fantastic morning celebrating together. First, we listened to the beautiful original poems by the chosen students in grades 1-5. They read with confidence and their poems were so lovely! Then, we played "Musical Chairs: Love Edition" and students were stoked to cheer on their friends. MC Buck made it to FIS! Students were so excited to meet a famous dancer and hip-hop dance teacher. The demo class went extremely well and students were groovy with their moves; even the principals danced a bit! Thank you, MC Buck for joining us and adding this cool club to our school. We hope more students will join this fun club!!!

Celebrating Tet together! Grade 5 students planned a mural for our ground floor bulletin board and worked together to create a beautiful Tet painting. They had so much fun and felt so proud of their creation. Thank you Grade 5 for making our school more beautiful with your art.

Happy year of the dragon! For this year Tet activity, students participated in two fun activities! Preschoolers met outside in their shaded preschool playground and were greeted by the Topclever staff. Tables and art supplies were set and ready for students to begin painting their ceramic piggy banks. Preschoolers had so much fun expressing themselves through their brush strokes and releasing their creativity. Primary students used their culinary skills to put together the famous traditional Tet dish, Banh Chung. As global citizens, we encourage our students to be aware and understand diversity in our world. To support our mission of cultivating world knowledge through culture, we hosted our annual International Day at FOSCO International School on January 26th, 2024. We began the day with “We are One Assembly.” Students dressed up to represent countries around the world and some explained their interesting outfits to the school.
